The action hero from Hell is back! When an ancient truce between humankind and the invisible realm of the ‘fantastic’ is broken, it’s left to Hellboy with his team of paranormal friends to travel between the two worlds and stop an evil dictator from unleashing his drones and killing all of mankind.

If you enjoyed the first Hellboy film, you'll love the sequel. With almost all of the original cast plus a couple of new additions Hellboy II manages to break the rule about sequels not being as good as the first film. This is a great action film with the usual amount of fighting you might expect, but the nice thing is you can take your kids to see it if you want as none of the violence is too graphic. There is some infrequent strong language and depending on how scared your kids might get by some of the fantasy creatures, this may not be something for your younger kids.
