TELEPHONE NETWORK COMMUNICATIONS
As of Yesterday 31/3/2010 BT Exchange Paddington has experienced a major collapse of their network due to an incident at that location. BT Lines in a large area of NW London are affected and BT is currently unable to provide any time frame for return to normal services.
The impact on the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth telephone lines has resulted in no calls being received via the main telephone number through the switchboard.
As a result the following number is now available as the Main Hospital Switchboard; 0207 286 5126, this has six lines into the Hospital. This contact number has been advertised on the Hospital’s website, however due to call volumes you may experience some delay getting through.
Please note the Staff and Patients are able to dial out from the Hospital network as normal.
Please be reassured that all services are fully operational and working as normal and this problem has not impacted on patient care.
