There is an amazing Medical Innovations Summit at the RSM in July 2010.
The event is free of charge to attend and fellows can bring as many guests as they like, but seats in the 300 capacity auditorium are quickly booked.
The Summit will include 5 presentations on the Saturday and 4 presentations on the Sunday. Some of the speakers are flying in from the USA just for the Summit.
Presentations will include
• the world's first ovary transplant,
• a one hour cure for blood pressure,
• the world's first tracheal transplant on a child,
• a fridge-free vaccine for use in the developing world,
• the world's first operation linking an artificial heart and stem cells,
• the world's first use of ultrasound to treat bowel cancer.
The presentations inspiring, informative and stimulating.
